•  Every year on October 19, ‘ World Pediatric Bone and Joint Day’ is celebrated all over the world.
•  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Russia on October 22 to attend the  16th BRICS Summit ( BRICS Summit 2024).
• Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate  the ‘ National Rabi Krishi Sammelan 2024′ on October 19 in New Delhi. 
• Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu on October 18 unveiled the ‘Aviation Park’ in the ministry premises. The park presents a picturesque view of models of aircraft.
• The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released a consultation paper on regulatory framework for broadcasters.
•  The Central Government has extended the last date for the ‘ National Scholarship Portal’ for meritorious students for the year 2024-25 till 31st October.
•  According to a report by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), around 41.7 million people in Bangladesh are living in extreme poverty and six and a half percent of them are in a miserable condition. सं
