Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Passed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognized institute.
- B.Sc. Nursing graduates are also eligible.
- Candidates from outside Bihar must obtain eligibility certification from INC, New Delhi.
- Must be registered with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council, Patna.

Selection Process
- Written Exam (CBT) – 75 Marks
- 100 Objective Questions (GNM Level)
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
- Work Experience – 25 Marks
- 5 Marks per year (only for contractual nurses in Bihar Govt/Non-private hospitals)
- Maximum up to 25 Marks
